I love my hometown of Vashon, WA. It is where my friends and family live which means I only have a short ten-minute commute to work.

My love for dentistry started early with a much-desired play-dough dental toy. It went from that to wanting to try a version of the real thing.

So, I began attending college and completed courses intending to enter the hygiene program. However, life had its plan for me because I found an opening here at Dental Care for Vashon. It is the perfect fit and feels like I found my new home.

Since then, I found my real passion is in administration and helping people feel prepared for their visit. I share my knowledge so our patients can understand each procedure, their financing options, and the treatment timeline.

Outside of the Office:
I am an avid movie buff with my favorite genre is comedy. When I’m not watching movies, I like to cook and try things I find on Pinterest.

Bucket List Item:
One thing I would love to do is go to New Zealand to see the beautiful sites.

I grew up in Pennsylvania but now live on Vashon Island. I am married with two young daughters. I have been in the dental field since 1996.

I found dentistry while at college. I was searching for a career path and happened to be sitting in the dental chair. As usual, I had a great experience with the hygienist and began asking her about her profession. It was then that I decided to apply to a dental program, and now it is my real passion.

I love the day-to-day interactions with my patients, especially when they show or express their gratitude for having a stress-free visit. I make it my goal to help everyone overcome their dental fears and achieve a beautiful smile.
